ABDUL KARIM (BAIR WARO) MOLANA (Famous Religious Figure)
Molana
Abdul Karim Qureshi (Bair Waro) was born on 22nd
September 1922 at Village Bair, Taulka Qamber, District Larkana. He has
been a scholar and religious figure of Silsila- e- Qadriya. He received his
early education from his father. He also studied Persian and Arabic. From 1944
to 1947 he was student of a famous scholar Allama Ghulam Mustafa Qasmi where he
received his degree. He started teaching at Madarsa in Karachi with his teacher Qasmi
Sahb for three years. Later, he taught at Jamia Anwar ul Uloom Madarsa of Molvi
Abdul Latif from 1951 to 1958. Finally he opened his own Madarsa Siraj ul Uloom
at his village continued till death. Along with teaching he also wrote many
books. Among his students there is a big number
of engineers, doctors, teachers, professors and common people. Almighty had
given him exceptional qualities. With his mild discourse, the people from every
walk of life received same kindness and love in his company. He was also Naib
Ameer of a religious party Jamiat Ulima E Islam. He remained an active
participant of Tahreek-e-Khatim Nabuwat in Sindh. One of his distinguished
achievements was a published Quran Sharif in which he has translated it word by
word. Under each Arabic word there is a Sindhi word for it. This work completed
after the effort of 12 years. Molana left this fatal world on 4th January 1999.
