AGHA SALEEM (Eminent Novelist and Literary Personality)

Agha Saleem, a renowned literary figure and famous novelist, was born in Shikarpur on 7 th April 1935.His real name is Agha Khalid saleem, son of Agha Abdul kareem khan. He got basic education in Shikarpur and lived in Hyderabad since 1948. Matriculated from Hyderabad , Intermediate from Lahore and B.A from University of Sindh . He worked at Radio Pakistan and retired as station director. He is known as an eminent story writer, novelist and dramatist of Sindhi language. His first story, Aah! Ai zalim samaj, published in 1952. ADAL SOOMRO (Distinguished poet and Prose writer)

Dr. Abdul Karim son of Muhammad Saleh Soomro was   an eminent poet and prose writer, born on 15 th August 1955 in Sukkur. His Literary name is Adal Soomro. He is literary person of modern age.He started his writing in 1971. Adal Soomro did his masters in economics in 1977 and masters in Sindhi literature where he secured first position with gold medal in 1979.For ten years he taught in various college. ABDUL QADIR JUNEJO (A Dramatist, Story writer and literary Figure)

Abdul Qadir Junejo was born in Village Jinhan, Taulka Mithi, District Tharparkar on 13 th September 1945 .   He is a great dramatist, story writer and a literary figure. He is B.A, B.Ed and M.A in Sociology from Sindh University . He began his professional career as a primary teacher in 1962 and secondary teacher in 1971. Finally, he was appointed at Institute of Sindhology on different posts. Among his works, dramas and stories are matchless. His first story muth muth sooran jee (1964) was published in “Rooh Rihan” magazine. He has written twenty dramas for television and thirty, for radio. His most famous drama Rani Jee Kahani was telecasted from PTV Karachi centre and was translated in English, Urdu and Chinese languages. ABDUL MAJEED SINDHI, SHAIKH (Eminent Writer, Scholar and a well known journalist)

Shaikh Abdul Majeed Sindhi was born on 7 th July 1889 in a Hindu family in Thatta. He was a famous writer, scholar, politician, journalist and a good person. Since childhood he was in the search of right that’s why on 10 th February 1908 he became a Muslim in front of Shaikh Abdul Rahim at Hyderabad . He matriculated from Thatta then became Munshi at a senior advocate Mr Deechand Ojha. Afterwards he lived at Hyderabad where Rais Ghulam Muhammad Bhurgari made him editor of his paper Al Ameen . Having been inspired from his intellect Bhurgari Sahab made him, his political advisor. He was an active participant of Reshmi Rumal Tahrik, by Molana Ubedullah Sindhi, in which he was imprisoned in 1919 for three years. Dr. Memon Abdul Majeed Sindhi was born on 1 st January 1930 in a village Mari near Shikarpur District. He has been a well prominent scholar, intellectual, critic and a linguist. He got early education at his village but due to flood the whole family migrated to Shikarpur where he was admitted in the Madarsa of Molvi Fazlullah. He learnt Arabic, Persian, Quran Nazra and Qirat. He completed middle from Shikarpur, Matric in 1952 from Larkana and Diploma in Civil Engineering from Sukkur in 1954. Abdul Karim Khan Rind Baloch was born on 5 th January 1938 in karachi ’s Baghdadi area but settled in Yosuf Balouch Village Kotri with his family. He is illustrious personality of Radio and Television. His father took part in First World War and married a Kurd girl from Baghdad . Molana Abdul Karim Qureshi (Bair Waro) was born on 22 nd September 1922 at Village Bair, Taulka Qamber, District Larkana. He has been a scholar and religious figure of Silsila- e- Qadriya. He received his early education from his father. He also studied Persian and Arabic. From 1944 to 1947 he was student of a famous scholar Allama Ghulam Mustafa Qasmi where he received his degree. Abdul Hafeez Pirzada, son of Abdul sattar, former chief minister of sindh, was born on 24 th February 1935 at Old Sukkur. He is an illustrious politician and lawyer of Pakistan . He received primary education at Sukkur, B.A from D.J Sindh college Karachi (1954), Bar at Law from Linloclns Inn United Kingdom (1957). Abdul Gaffar Tabasum was born at village Pir Bux Bhutto; district Larkana on 20 th November 1951 . He is counted as one of the best poets of sindh, his qualification M.A (International Relations). He resides and works at Karachi . Abdul Gaffar Tabasum has composed poetry on all the terms such as geet, ghazal, bait, kaafyoon, wayoon, azad nazam, filmi geet etc. His field of interest is nazam in which he represents the condition of tragic hearts. ABIDA PARVEEN (Mystic and folk singer)

Abida parveen, a great mystic and folk singer of Pakistan , was born on 20 th of Feb 1954 at muhalla Ali Goharabad larkana. She was keen to sing since her childhood.She was leading promoter of mystical songs. She got singing in her heritage. Her mother, Mumtaz Begum, was a good artist and her father was expert musician who was also her teacher. She learnt the music firstly from Ghulam Haider, Later on from Ustad Salamat Ali. After that she joined her father’s institute for further training.A very famous producer of Pakistan Ghulam Hussain sheikh was her husband whose efforts won her success in the field of music. سومرن جي دور ۾ چئن دودن ۽ ٻن چنيسرن جو نمايان ذڪر آهي. انهن بابت واقع نگارن جو مجموعي طور رايو آهي ته ٻئي چنيسر پرمتڙيا، لالچي ۽ بيڪار هئا، جڏهن ته دودا دلير، بهادر ۽ ويڙهو هئا. ان تاريخي پس منظر ۾ ائين معلوم ٿئي ٿو ته سومرن ۾ دودن واري تسلسل ۽ بهادرانه ڪارنامن واري روايت سبب دودو لفظ بهادريءَ جي علامت طور منسوب ٿي ويو. بيان ڪيل داستانن جي لوڪ روايت، جنهن طرح غير محسوس ٿيندڙ عوامي انداز سان جنم وٺي، پختي ٿي ۽ پکيڙجي ٿي، هيءَ به هڪ اهڙو ئي مثال آهي. سومرن جي دور جا سڀئي دودا پنهنجي پنهنجي دور جا بهادر ۽ بيباڪ مڙس هئا. ان ڪري دودو سورهيائيءَ جي علامتي اهڃاڻ طور نه رڳو ان وقت، پر موجودهه دور تائين زبان زد عام هلندو پئي رهيو آهي ۽ شايد ان ئي نالي جي نسبت سان دوداڻي، سورهيائي طور ۽ دودو بهادريءَ جي علامت طور سنڌي معاشري ۾ رائج ٿي ويو. ان دور جو مشهور منگتو ڀاڳو ڀان دودي جي حوالي سان دوداڻين جو ذڪر ڪندي چوي ٿو: والي وڳهه ڪوٽ جا، دوداڻي دونڪن، جي ڪنين ٻه هئا سومرا، تن ڏيل اکئين ڏسجن. هنديءَ ۾ دودي جي لفظي معنيٰ ‘راج دل’ يعنيٰ ملڪ جي سگهه آهي پر سنڌيءَ ۾ اهو لفظ گھڻ صفا تي حوالي سا

SHAHEED DOOLAH DARYA KHAN

سنڌ جي تاريخ ۾  ”سمن جو دور“ سياسي لحاظ کان سونهري دور ٿي گذريو آهي. سياست، عملداري، فوج، سپاهه، مدرسا، خانقاهون، مڪتب، ڪاروبار ۽ واپار، مطلب ته سنڌي ماڻهو هر لحاظ کان فوقيت رکندڙ هو. 1520ع ۾ سمن جي حڪومت جي خاتمي کان پوءِ سنڌي وري ڪڏهن به اهو اوج حاصل نه ڪري سگهيا. جيتوڻيڪ ڪلهوڙن ارڙهين صديءَ ۾ سنڌ جي وڃايل اوج کي حاصل ڪرڻ جي ڪوشش ڪئي، پر اهي سمن جي حڪومتي حاصلات تائين پهچي نه سگهيا! بادشاهن ۽ سلطانن (سمن) کان سواءِ، ڄامن سمن جي آخري دور ۾ ٻه وڏا ڪردار پيدا ٿيا. مخدوم بلال ۽ دولهه دريا خان. ٻئي ڪردار پنهنجي پنهنجي جاءِ تي، تمام وڏي اهميت وارا هئا. مخدوم بلال عالم، استاد ۽ صوفي هئڻ سان گڏ، وطن دوست انسان ٿي گذريو. دولهه دريا خان سياستدان، مدبر، سپهه سالار ۽ تعميرِ سنڌ جو روح روان هو. 1980ع ۾ هڪ مقالو ڇپيو. ان موجب دريا خان لاشاري بلوچ هو. منهنجو ڪتاب ”سمن جي سلطنت“ 1987ع ۾ ڇپيو، تڏهن مون هن راءِ کي تسليم نه ڪيو ۽ پنهنجو موقف پيش ڪيو. محض روايتن جي آڌار تي، ڪنهن جو حسب نسب طئه ڪرڻ، تحقيق جي تسليم شده اصولن جي خلاف هو. ايندڙ ورقن ۾ ”دولهه دريا خان“ بابت مضمون ۽ مقالا سهيڙي پيش ڪ

سنڌ جي نامور اسڪالر ڊاڪٽر غلام محمد لاکي جي تعاون ۽ سندس نگرانيءَ ۾ شهيد مخدوم بلاول جي شخصيت ۽ ڪردار بابت ڪيل هيءَ ميڙان چونڊي 2006ع ۾ شايع ٿي هئي، جنهن جو ڊاڪٽر صاحب، مهاڳ پڻ لکيو هو. هيءُ ڪتاب سنڌ جي قومي ڪردارن کي اجاگر ڪرڻ واري مقصد سان تيار ڪيو ويو هو.  مخدوم صاحب کي سنڌ جي محب وطن شهيدن ۾ اعليٰ مقام حاصل آهي، ان ڪري مخدوم صاحب جي شخصيت ۽ سندس ڪردار بابت اٿاريل متضاد راين بابت تحقيقي انداز ۾ تيار ڪيل هن مواد کي ڪافي پذيرائي ملي. ان پذيرائيءَ جو فائدو وٺندي سنڌ جي ڪن جڳاڙي پبلشرن ڪوڙِ نالي سان ساڳي مواد جي ٽريس ڪاپي تيار ڪرائي ورتي. ان جو بنيادي سبب سنڌ جي تعليم کاتي پاران ان ڪتاب کي تعليمي ادارن جي لائبررين لاءِ خريداريءَ واسطي منظور ڪرڻ هو. اهڙي ريت انتهائي ردي ڇپائي ۽ اخباري ڪاغذ تي فرضي نالي سان، هن ڪتاب جو آندل اهو ڇاپو مفاد پرست پبلشرن ۽لالچي خريدارن جي ڳٺ جوڙ سان مختلف تعليمي ادارن جي لائبررين تائين پهچايو ويو. نه رڳو ايترو پر ان ملي ڀڳت سان ڪيترن ئي ٻين مشهور ليکڪن جي نامور ڪتابن جون ڪوڙيون ڊميون (نالو ساڳيو اندر مواد ٻيو) جوڙي سَوَن جي تعداد ۾ اهڙا ڪتاب سرڪاري ڪ
